Yesterday we were searching for travel videos to upload to a website as an entry for a competition to travel to Philadelphia. As usual it was the last day, when we got round to doing it. But in this confusion I discovered a treasure of travel videos very carefully shot in 2004. I am posting one of them here.
This was a trip to Europe. We started from Rome to Pisa, then Florence and onto Venice. This video has been taken in the field of miracles.

Very interesting and nice to see a video of Leaning tower. When we dig into archives, we find treasures like this to post. Good thinking and hope to see more that may have missed the blog.
The place looks smashing! I have seen a bit of Venice but lost all my pictures apart from the few that I have on my blog.
@Anup thanks. your twitter account is very interesting.
@Mridula whenever I travel I'm always afraid that I might lose my still photographs, by accidentally deleting them or, to memory stick malfunction, so wherever possible I keep uploading to the web mainly, to my picasa
Twitter allows me to micro blog and that I like as I can do it in short bursts. I love following some really interesting tweets mostly the archaeology news! I think I mentioned this before...growing old and becoming repetitive, I am! hehehe...
I bet it is great to look at in real life.
I mostly have still pictures of these places and to scan them is a pain. Haven't uploaded all. But each one of them has a memory attached to it. Isn't it? :-)
@ollie it looked marvelous in real life.
@Nisha when we planned on going to Europe I was the one who did not want to carry a handycam, but I was the one who saw Europe through the lens the first time round. But videos cannot replace still pictures, which make for great blogging, and memories come to life when you look at them. Capt.Anup uses the videos very well for his blog, I envy him.
